ODP Tryout
Information |
|
Registration Open for the 1992, 1993, and 1994 Age
Group |
 The 2008-2009 Olympic Development Program
on-line registration for try-outs in the 1992, 1993, and 1994
is open. Any player who wishes to tryout and does not
sign up on-line will be able to register on-site for an
additional fee. The tryout dates are November 1 in
Lexington and November 8 in Bowling Green and the
tryout fee is good for both events, and
Kentucky Youth Soccer strongly encourages players to
attend both dates if possible.
The long term goal of these programs is to identify a
pool of players in each age group from which a National Team
will be selected for international competition, to provide
high-level training to benefit and enhance the development of
players at all levels, and through the use of carefully
selected and licensed coaches, to develop a mechanism for the
exchange of ideas and curriculum to improve the playing
levels. Over the last two years, a number of new events
and training sessions have been added to strengthen the
program statewide and regionally, and we hope that 2008-2009
will be our best year to date.
