Dave started full time in January of 2000 as a Program Specialist supporting our state programs such as the American Cup, the The Open Cup Cup, and The Commonwealth Cup. Dave is also actively involved in the promotion and operation of most state events, member support, and registration. Beginning in October 2006, Dave began assisting with the state player and coach development programs.

In the Spring of 2001 Dave was deeply involved in the creation and implementation of The Eurosport Cup and assumed the roll of staff liaison to our state partners. 

In December 2001, Dave was promoted to State Program Manager in recognition of his increased knowledge and responsibilities. 

In the Fall of 2002, Dave accepted responsibility for managing our outreach programs:  TOP Soccer and Soccer Start.

Dave has received certification from the US Youth Soccer Mediation Program as a mediator and has successfully mediated several disputes.

Dave is also an ardent indoor soccer player and often plays on multiple teams.

Dave was a Spring 99 graduate of Georgetown College with a degree in Education.  He has worked as a substitute teacher.  Dave played for Georgetown for 4 years and as a team captain and an all conference player.

Dave hails from Owensboro where he was a player in the Owensboro YSA program for many years.  Dave finished his youth days playing for the former Bon Air SC in Louisville.
